Savvy Staffing is currently hiring Assemblers in Shrewsbury.
- Responsible for reading and understanding all requirements of the Manufacturing Order.
- Builds sub-assemblies of shafts and motor gearbox base assemblies.
- Following written procedures, builds up unit with PC boards, limit switches, batteries and attaches all wiring to their designated connections.
- Prepares cover by applying all required labels and components. Installs cover with required bolts and moves product to Valvcon Shipping area.
- Demonstrates safe work practices and able to work in a team environment.
Required Qualifications :
- 0-2+ years of actual on the job experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend English is required.
- Ability to use small hand tools, small presses and proper PPE is required.
- Most work is done within a factory setting.
- Repetitive work which requires frequent standing, bending and lifting.
- Frequently lifts materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
