Computer Hardware Tester

Savvy Staffing is seeking a Computer Hardware Tester for our client company in Northboro.

Schedule:

• 8:00am- 4:30pm


• Monday- Friday


• Some OT on Saturdays (not mandatory) 8:00am- 12:00pm

Duties include but not limited to the following (Training will be provided for specific tasks);

• Conduct thorough testing of DIMMs and HDDs using provided software and equipment.


• Troubleshoot issues and defects encountered during testing, and report findings.


• Maintain organized testing process, documentation, and equipment handling.


• Collaborate with team members, follow quality standards, and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.

• Possess basic knowledge of computer hardware components, including DIMMs and HDDs.


• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to maintain a structured and efficient testing process.


• Conduct thorough testing of DIMMs (Dual In-Line Memory Modules) and HDDs (Hard Disk Drives) using provided software’s.

·        Self-motivated and results driven - self-starter with a sense of urgency, capable of working in a multi-tasking environment and shifting focus appropriately.

• General understanding of electronic equipment.


• Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.


• Ability to lift 50 lbs. hardware components. occasionally.


• Exhibit excellent English comprehension skills to understand testing procedures and accurately interpret results


• Familiarity with lean manufacturing processes, tools and techniques is a plus
