Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating press brake machinery. This role involves fabricating metal parts to precise specifications, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.


• Set up tooling and fixtures for various production runs, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.


• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.


• Conduct routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.


• Utilize hand tools and machining equipment such as lathes and milling machines for fabrication tasks.


• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble components effectively.


• Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus.


• Proficient in using hand tools and machining equipment for fabrication tasks.


• Experience with programming CNC machines is desirable but not mandatory.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
